Volunteer with Habitat for Humanity Victoria
Every volunteer makes a difference for local families.
Volunteers work with us in a variety of ways throughout the year.
From becoming a ReStore volunteer to helping at fundraising events, there are many opportunities to contribute in a meaningful way.
How to get involved:
ReStore Volunteers:
We are always looking for volunteers to help in our ReStores. We have two ReStore locations in Greater Victoria - Victoria and Westshore. Our ReStores are open 7 days a week with different shifts to suit your schedule. There are so many ways to volunteer at the ReStore. Volunteers help with receiving and sorting donations, assisting customers, stocking shelves, merchandising the store floor and so much more!
Event Volunteer Opportunities:
Event Ambassadors
Habitat for Humanity Victoria hosts a variety of community events and public-facing initiatives throughout the year, and our Event Ambassadors play an important role in helping these moments run smoothly.
Volunteer Ambassadors support Habitat Victoria by welcoming guests, sharing basic information about our work, encouraging participation when appropriate, and helping create a positive, approachable atmosphere. This role is ideal for volunteers who enjoy interacting with the public and representing Habitat Victoria in a friendly and professional way.
Shifts are typically a few hours long, with multiple ambassadors scheduled at a time. Volunteers are welcome to sign up for one or more shifts, depending on availability.
If you are interested in supporting Habitat Victoria events and engaging with the community, this is a great way to get involved.
