Days of Service - Groups/Teams
Is your company, organization, or team looking to do a full-day, one-time volunteer event together? Partner with Habitat Victoria to make an impact in your local community.
Contribute to creating change and giving families a hand up in affordable homeownership
Team building that allows your group to collaborate and share time together outside of the workplace
Create strong corporate community involvement and dedicate hours to your employer supported volunteer mandate or social responsibility practice
Build Days:
On-site, boots on the ground, construction projects. Volunteer teams spend the day working alongside skilled supervisors to help construct or repair safe and decent homes for local families.
Jobs are varied, but could consist of:
Six to eight hours on-site
Professional services such as plumbing or electrical work (certified tradespeople only)
Assisting with site preparation, demolition, moving/hauling, painting, installing fixtures, minor repairs, general labour, site clean up, landscaping and more!
Site orientation and training provided where needed, along with a presentation by one of our HFHV team members
Safety shoes and PPE provided
8 people minimum, up to 20 people per day (multiple day opportunities may be available), age 19+

A Team Build Day is both a meaningful volunteer experience and a tangible investment in your community. We ask participating teams to contribute $5000 to help fund materials, tools, and skilled supervision—making your day on site possible and impactful.
