What the ReStore Accepts
Before donating, please review our guidelines to ensure your items can be accepted. We accept a wide range of new and gently used furniture, appliances, and building materials, provided they are free of rips, tears, stains, and come from a smoke and pet-free home.
All donations are assessed at drop-off, and the Receiving Team determines acceptance at each location based on item condition and current store stock levels.

Appliances: (Electric Only) Washers, dryers, fridges, freezers, stoves (no wall ovens), metal dishwashers, range hoods, air conditioning units, microwaves, and small appliances.
Building Supplies: Lumber - unpainted 4ft and longer. Plywood, panelling, MDF, OSB, drywall (Corporate Only).
Building Supplies - Westshore Only: Blocks, bricks, paving stones, sand, cement (new/unopened).
Cabinets: Cabinet doors (in box only), Countertops without holes, kitchen cabinets & islands (European hidden hinges only), Bathroom & medicine cabinets. Full kitchen cabinet sets (European hidden hinges only).
Doors - Corporate Only.
Door Hardware: Door knobs, hinges, faceplates & hardware.
Electrical: Electrical boxes, light bulbs, wire, plate covers, outlet boxes, switches, plates, receptacles, conduit.
Electronics: TVs less than 10 years old, Audio equipment, Projectors, Computer accessories, CDs, DVDs, Blu-rays, Albums, Video Games, Game Consoles, Vinyl Records, Keyboard (no pianos), Music Equipment.
Flooring: Laminate and hardwood flooring (100 sq/ft min, unopened), ceramic floor tiles, lino roll ends (30 sq/ft min, unused). Wall & decorative tiles, tile adhesive, moulding, floor moulding (Corporate Only).
Furniture: Couches and love seats (except floral). Chairs, recliner lift chairs, tables, dining sets, coffee tables, end tables, dressers, nightstands, bed frames, coat racks, hooks. File cabinets, office chairs, and desks under 5ft long.
Garden and Outdoor: BBQs, garden tools, powered garden tools, outdoor seating & tables, awnings, watering cans, hoses, rain barrels, compost bins, plant pots.
Hardware: Packaged nails, nuts, bolts, and fasteners. Cabinet handles & pulls, door knobs & hinges, house numbers, shelves, brackets, castors, wheels, hooks, ropes & straps.
Home Decor: Pictures, frames, curtain rails, hooks and accessories, mirrors in frames, housewares, china, kitchen accessories, ornaments, vacuums, sporting goods, pet supplies, area rugs, and collectables.
Lighting: Complete fixtures (no fluorescent), lamps, light bulbs, outdoor lights, shades
Mattresses - Corporate Only.
Miscellaneous Items: Bicycles, books, toys (action figures, Lego, dollhouses, Nerf, etc.), board games, comics, sports equipment.
Paint - Corporate Only.
Painting Accessories: Brushes, rollers, trays, scrapers, abrasives, drop sheets. Wallpaper (new and 100 sq ft minimum).
Plumbing Fixtures: Vanities, shower bars, faucets, pipework min 2ft, pipe fittings, stainless steel sinks, bathroom accessories, clean low-flow toilets, sinks, shower trays, fibreglass baths only in as-new condition.
Roofing Materials - Corporate Only.
Seasonal: Holiday lights, any holiday décor.
Tools: Tool boxes, hand tools, power tools, table saws, drill presses, grinders, bench vices, safety gear, tarpaulins.
Windows - Corporate Only.

Box springs, pianos, large pieces of granite/stone/marble, blinds, ceiling fans, ceiling tiles, patio doors, flat panel doors, bi-fold or mirrored closet doors, gas appliances, medical equipment or supplies, clothing, computers, baby items and children’s toys, chemicals (cleaners, solvents, etc.), propane tanks, safety equipment, powder-actuated tools, weapons, or ammunition.
