What was your inspiration?
For us living on the coast means being close to the water. We enjoy going to the beach, kayaking, paddle boarding, picnics and swimming. How long did you take to make your creation? A long time! What was the most challenging part? Making sure everything was to scale. Using icomalt. Remaking the rocks the lighthouse sits on, because Gertie ate them. What are you most proud of? We are most proud of our teamwork and thinking of edible materials that were structurally sound. Did you use a unique ingredient or technique? We used rice cakes to make the lighthouse. |
