What was your inspiration?
When we were little we had the special experience of traveling from Vancouver to California by train during Christmas time. It was one of the most memorable experiences of our childhood. Along this trip we saw and experienced the Westcoast in a very unique way. We hope to emanate all that is exciting about riding a train. How long did you take to make your creation? 200+ hours What was the most challenging part? Trielle living in Victoria and Brittany living in Surrey meant that working on the creation together in person was very limited. A lot of time was spent ensuring the dimensions of what we were both creating coincided and would work when we put it all together in the end. What are you most proud of? The various elements we created to try and represent the Westcoast. Did you use a unique ingredient or technique? Just patience and dedication! |
