What was your inspiration?
Tim from the East Coast “Red Bay Labrador”. My family is from Lanse-Amour. The lighthouse there has played a big part in my life during Christmas time. How long did you take to make your creation? Over 200 hours What was the most challenging part? I’ve never done anything like this before. I don’t typically work with gingerbread or sugar so the learning curve was a big challenge along with finding the time to experiment before. What are you most proud of? The ocean and bears. Did you use a unique ingredient or technique? I didn’t use any unusual ingredients but did use a blowtorch to mold all the sugar sculptures. |
