Update - 10 Home Build North Saanich - Six Families move in April 21, 2021

2021 - Six families received the keys to their new homes today at Bakerview Place in North Saanich and a further four will be moving in the coming months. Our thanks to everyone who made this build possible. 

September 2018- ​We are thrilled to share the news that we are building 10 new  Habitat homes in North Saanich in 2020! Located at Bakerview Place and Lochside Drive, the rezone will make way for 17 single-family houses (to be built by the developer) and 10 multi-family homes to be built by Habitat. Not only is this is the most significant land donation in Habitat Victoria’s history, it also represents, at 37%, the highest percentage of affordable-to-market housing ratio we’ve seen and will result in our largest build project to date.

After almost two years of effort, we are truly grateful to the District for approving this project, and incredibly thankful to Reay Developments for this remarkable donation to affordable housing. We anticipate construction to begin in the Spring of 2020 following the completion of all the necessary site work.
