We are inviting home chefs and professional bakers, along with artists, designers, architects and more to sign up for this year’s event. 2022 Gingerbread Showcase Theme: Magical
Bring your creativity to life with this year's Gingerbread Showcase theme: Magical. We are asking bakers to create the magic with 2022's exciting theme. Whether it be an illusion or something that gives you the feeling of magic, we're looking forward to seeing all of the amazing creations! Showcase Entry Rules for your Gingerbread Creation:
Dimensions Creations must reside on a solid base that measures 61cm x 61cm (24 inches x 24 inches). No part of the creation may extend over the edge of the base. A pre-cut wooden base can be picked up at one of two ReStores: Westshore, 849 Orono Ave or Uptown, 3311H Oak St. Confirmed participants will be contacted when the wooden base is available for pick-up. Your creation must be a minimum of 45 cm (18 inches) in height. Specifications All components must be edible with the exception of the sheet of plywood on which your creation is built. Please note that entries containing prohibited elements (non-edible) will not qualify for formal judging and may be displayed at an alternate location, such as a Habitat ReStore. Each participant must take full responsibility for transporting their creation to the Parkside Hotel & Spa and for setting it up on a stand which will be provided by Habitat for Humanity Victoria.
