• Habitat Victoria Family

We build strength, stability and independence.

Habitat for Humanity Victoria brings communities together to help families build strength, stability and independence through affordable homeownership.

  • We are tackling the housing crisis in your neighborhood! Habitat Victoria is proposing affordable three-bedroom homes in the Gordon Head community.

While the government focuses on funding rental homes, Habitat Victoria believes in providing affordable homeownership for working families in our community. Join us in making a difference by bidding on your favorite art to support the construction of these homes.

  • Local artists have created art that is being auctioned off online in support of Habitat Victoria’s mission of affordable homeownership in our community!

  • Volunteer with Habitat for Humanity Victoria

Volunteers work with us on a variety of projects throughout the year. From fundraising events to becoming a ReStore volunteer, there are many opportunities to contribute in a meaningful way.

  • Habitat Victoria's ReStores are open and ready to accept donations

Habitat for Humanity Victoria ReStores accepts donations of new and gently used furniture, housewares, building supplies and more that we sell to the general public, raising money to support our vision of a world where everyone has a safe and decent place to live.

  • The Habitat For Humanity Victoria ReStore

The ReStore is an affordable option for a wide range of household needs, from furniture, appliances, home décor, plumbing and more! It also plays an important environmental role by diverting items in good working order away from the landfill. Revenue generated from the ReStore is designated to cover the operational overhead of the charity, and any excess goes towards building affordable homes.

  • Donate Today

Your financial support will help families build strength, stability and independence through affordable homeownership.

100% of your donation goes towards creating a better future for a family living in need.

Everyone deserves a safe and decent place to live.

Some 14% of renter households in the Capital Region are defined as being in "core housing need", meaning they do not live in and are unable to access affordable housing, in adequate condition, and of suitable size. An affordable home provides a strong foundation on which families can build their future. How can you help? Donate to our build program, volunteer with us, and shop and donate at our ReStores.
