Habitat for Humanity Victoria ReStores accepts donations of new and gently used furniture, housewares, building supplies and more that we sell to the general public, raising money to support our vision of a world where everyone has a safe and decent place to live.

The ReStore is an affordable option for a wide range of household needs, from furniture, appliances, home décor, plumbing and more! It also plays an important environmental role by diverting items in good working order away from the landfill. Revenue generated from the ReStore is designated to cover the operational overhead of the charity, and any excess goes towards building affordable homes.

Some 14% of renter households in the Capital Region are defined as being in "core housing need", meaning they do not live in and are unable to access affordable housing, in adequate condition, and of suitable size.
